Tip hot beans onto the upper 5-mesh sieve, switch on the 20 W fan in the painted-metal base, and stir so chaff falls through to the 60-mesh tray. The tray is 17.5 cm across and 14.5 cm high (4 cm + 4 cm sieves on a 6.5 cm base). The fan runs at 3,300 rpm on 220–240 V. Unplug, then rinse the painted base and the 304 sieves.

How to cool a home roast dump
- Sit the base on a flat surface. Stack the 60-mesh sieve on the base, then the 5-mesh sieve.
- Tip the hot beans onto the upper 5-mesh sieve.
- Switch on the rocker on the front of the base, and stir so beans do not sit in a hot pile.
- Switch off, pour the beans, then empty the lower 60-mesh sieve of chaff.
- Unplug first. The painted-metal base and the 304 sieves can be rinsed.
